What is Calendula-Infused Sunflower Oil?
A botanical infusion of Calendula officinalis (Calendula flowers) in organic Sunflower Seed Oil, carefully extracted to preserve the plant’s beneficial properties. This gentle, nutrient-rich oil carries the soothing and restorative compounds of calendula into a lightweight, absorbent base.
The flower petals of the calendula plant, also known as pot marigold, have been used for medicinal purposes since at least the 12th century. Native to the Mediterranean, calendula is now cultivated worldwide as an ornamental and medicinal plant. It is not the same as the common marigold found in gardens.
