NOSE & TOES is a beeswax butter for dogs whose noses and paws meet rough ground, dry air, and changing weather.

Six carefully chosen materials give the balm its conditioning center, protective structure, and smooth movement across paw pads and noses.

For the Skin

Cupuaçu butter brings moisture retention and a generous cushion. It helps dry noses and weathered paw pads feel softer and more flexible.

Shea butter adds deeper conditioning and pliability, giving the balm the richness needed for areas that meet the ground and the elements every day.

Within the Composition

Virgin beeswax from our own hives gives Nose & Toes its protective structure. It holds the butters and oils together and leaves a fine layer that helps limit moisture loss while remaining flexible as a dog moves.

Natural vitamin E tocopherols help preserve the freshness and integrity of the butters and oils over time.

On the Skin

Coconut oil helps the balm soften with warmth, allowing its substantial texture to move comfortably across paw pads and noses. Jojoba oil, composed largely of wax esters, helps distribute the richer materials in a smooth, even layer.

Together, these materials make Nose & Toes rich enough for weathered noses and paws, smooth in its application, and protective enough to stay present through life outdoors.

Nose & Toes is dense in the tin. Scrape up a small amount with the back of a fingernail and place it in your palm. Rub it with your fingertips until it begins to warm and soften, then gather a little from your palm onto a finger and work it into the nose or paw pads.

The pace depends on your dog’s patience. Work the balm in rather than leaving excess on the surface, especially if your dog is inclined to lick. It settles without a shiny or overly oily finish, leaving the area feeling conditioned.

Use before walks, hikes, or winter outings for added protection, or afterward when paws and noses feel dry or weathered from the day.

Why is Nose & Toes firm in the tin?
The beeswax gives the butter enough structure to stay where it is placed. Warm a small amount in your palm first, and it becomes easier to work into a nose or paw pad without leaving a thick layer behind.

What if my dog licks it?
Some licking is likely. Apply a small amount and work it in rather than leaving excess on the surface. Nose & Toes is made for topical care, not as something for a dog to eat. If your dog gets into the tin or seems unwell after licking it, contact your veterinarian.

Will it leave greasy paw prints?
Worked in sparingly, it settles to a conditioned finish without much shine. Excess left on the paw may transfer before the balm has settled.

When does a nose or paw need more than balm?
Nose & Toes is for routine care of dry, weathered skin. Bleeding, open cracks, persistent irritation, or a dog repeatedly licking or favoring a paw calls for a veterinarian’s advice rather than another application.
