Each aromatic blend was composed to remain subtle and close to the body — noticeable at first, then gradually softening into the background as the balm settles into the lips.

Our Signature Aromatic Lip Balms are built around the relationship between softness, structure, and presence.

At the center of the formula is our own virgin beeswax, which provides a breathable protective layer while helping the balm remain flexible, comfortable, and resilient through daily wear. Unlike heavier wax-forward formulas, the composition was intentionally balanced to move naturally with the lips rather than sitting stiffly on the surface.

Shea and cupuaçu butters create the balm’s soft, elastic feel. Shea contributes richness and glide, while cupuaçu helps retain moisture and gives the composition its lasting suppleness and hydration.

Jojoba and castor oils refine the movement of the balm across the lips, helping it spread evenly and remain present without becoming greasy or overly glossy. Red raspberry seed oil contributes antioxidant richness and a silky finish, while emu oil helps the composition settle more deeply into dry or depleted areas of the lips.

Each blend is then finished with its own aromatic composition of botanical oils, resins, and absolutes — designed not as overpowering fragrance, but as atmosphere: subtle, wearable, and meant to remain close to the body.

What makes these lip balms different from typical flavored lip balms?

Most conventional lip balms focus heavily on flavorings, sweetness, or wax-heavy texture. Our Signature Aromatic Lip Balms were composed differently — emphasizing material behavior, breathable comfort, and subtle aromatic presence rather than candy-like flavor or excessive shine.

Why use virgin beeswax instead of standard refined beeswax?

Our virgin beeswax is minimally processed and retains more of its natural color, aroma, and character from the hive. Beyond structure alone, it contributes warmth, flexibility, and a more living material presence within the balm itself.

What does “aromatic” mean in this collection?

The aromatic aspect of these balms comes from carefully composed blends of botanical oils, resins, and absolutes chosen to remain subtle and easy to live with throughout the day. The scent stays close to the lips and body rather than projecting outward like a traditional fragrance product.

Why include emu oil in a lip balm?

Emu oil has a uniquely soft, penetrating feel that helps the balm settle more comfortably into dry or depleted areas of the lips. In the composition, it contributes depth and lasting softness without heaviness.

Are these balms meant for occasional use or constant daily carry?

Jasmine - This Body Blooms

Jasmine is a scent of depth and desire—lush, sweet, and alive. Infused into our creamy signature lip balm, it softens and nourishes while releasing its full intensity: velvety white petals, honeyed fruit, sunlit skin, and the soft ache of something too beautiful to hold.

We use jasmine absolute, an extract that preserves the delicate aromatic compounds lost in steam distillation. In this way, the balm carries the flower’s full complexity and intoxicating depth.

Sandalwood - A Sweet Indulgence

Infused with warm, resinous sandalwood, this balm softens and steadies with a calm that lingers.  Its creamy texture restores and shields against daily wear, while the sandalwood’s natural richness lends a smooth, grounding finish.

We use CO₂-extracted frankincense for its clarity and richness—closer to the true scent of the resin, and free from the confines of traditional distillation.
