TRIPTYCH | Beeswax Butter Lip Care with Lanolin + Emu Oil

TRIPTYCH is a Lip Butter built around three materials with distinct origins and responsibilities: Maryland virgin beeswax, New Zealand lanolin, and Montana emu oil. Together, they give the composition its structure, lasting depth, and soft relationship with lips shaped by weather and daily wear.

For the Skin

New Zealand lanolin brings moisture-binding richness and a flexible, lasting presence. It cushions dry lips and helps them retain comfort through movement and exposure.

Montana emu oil contributes a different kind of care. Rich in oleic acid, it gives the dense butter a softer, more yielding feel as it settles against the lips.

Red raspberry seed oil adds lighter conditioning through its linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, bringing balance to the richer animal-derived materials.

Within the Composition

Virgin beeswax from Cult of Bees hives in Maryland provides Triptych’s protective framework. It holds the butters and oils together and helps limit moisture loss while remaining flexible on the lips.

Shea butter softens that structure with velvety richness and pliability. Mango butter gives it a smoother body and a gradual response to warmth, allowing the butter to retain substance as it begins to melt.

Natural vitamin E tocopherols help preserve the freshness and integrity of the oils and butters over time.

On the Skin

Coconut oil helps Triptych soften on contact. Sweet almond oil carries the richer materials across the lips in an even layer, while castor oil adds a cushioned glide and gentle grip that extends their presence.

The result is a dense, velvety butter that moves easily at first touch, then settles with the depth and persistence of its three foundational materials.

Together, they make Triptych resilient in changing weather, generous to dry lips, and comfortable enough to keep close under any sky.

Apply Triptych directly from the tube to clean lips. It is a firm, wax-forward butter, so give it a moment against the lips to soften with warmth. A small amount goes a long way.

After a few minutes, the lips feel protected. The butter is still noticeable, but comfortable - present without getting in the way. Its dense, flexible layer lasts longer than a lighter everyday balm through daily wear and changing weather.
