VEILED | Scented Beeswax Butter for Lips

VEILED begins with the same eight-material foundation as Bare Naked: virgin beeswax from our own hives, cupuaçu and shea butters, botanical oils, and vitamin E. Each version wears its own aromatic composition - a little something more, with the butter’s conditioning character still at the center.

For the Skin

Cupuaçu butter forms the moisture-retentive center of Veiled. Its generous cushion helps dry lips remain soft and flexible through daily wear.

Shea butter, naturally rich in stearic and oleic acids, adds velvety substance and deeper conditioning. Marula oil brings oleic-rich softness, while red raspberry seed oil contributes linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids. Together, these oils balance richer emollience with a finer, lighter feel.

Within the Composition

Virgin beeswax from Cult of Bees hives gives Veiled its protective framework. It holds the butters and oils together and helps limit moisture loss, leaving a supple layer that moves comfortably with the lips.

Cupuaçu and shea temper that firmness, creating a yielding butter rather than allowing the wax to dominate. Natural vitamin E tocopherols help protect the botanical oils and butters from oxidation, supporting their freshness and integrity over time.

On the Skin

Jojoba oil, composed largely of wax esters, helps distribute the richer materials in a fine, even layer. Castor oil adds cushion and subtle grip, giving the glide control and the finished butter gentle persistence.

The aromatic materials add another dimension to that softness. Each blend offers a different expression of Veiled, mingling with the natural character of the beeswax, butters, and oils as the composition warms on the lips.

Frankincense + Lavender brings resinous depth with a soft floral edge. Frankincense CO₂ extract contributes mineral, gently bright notes, while lavender lends a clear herbal floral. Quietly composed, with warmth beneath its freshness.

Jasmine opens with lush white flowers, honeyed sweetness, and a hint of ripe fruit. Jasmine absolute brings a layered floral character to the butter - soft, expansive, and distinctly sensual. A little bloom, kept close.

White Cypress + Vanilla pairs the green, woody brightness of white cypress leaf essential oil with the soft warmth of vanilla CO₂ extract. A cool whisper through warm air, with freshness and sweetness held in balance.

Wintergreen brings a cool, sweet, rounded aroma. Its familiar mint-like freshness carries a softly medicinal character that recalls an old-world apothecary, set against the richness of the butter.

Wormwood + Lavender combines earthy, anise-like notes with a softer herbal floral. Wormwood supplies the green, bitter edge; lavender rounds it, while a touch of bergamot adds citrus brightness to the opening.

Ylang Ylang + Vanilla brings full, warm florals with ripe-fruit notes and a trace of spice. Ylang ylang gives the blend its lushness, while vanilla CO₂ extract rounds it into a creamy sweetness. Softly indulgent, with a lingering floral warmth.

Together, these materials create a Beeswax Butter that is generous in its conditioning, smooth in its movement, and lightly veiled in scent - care with a little something on.

Apply Veiled directly to clean lips whenever they feel dry, tight, or weathered. A light application softens quickly on contact and leaves a comfortable layer that remains noticeable without feeling heavy or overly waxy.

Use it lightly through the day, or apply a little more before bed for longer-lasting conditioning. Each aromatic blend is most noticeable at first, then gradually settles into the background while the butter remains on the lips.
