RISING SUN is a lightweight, biocompatible Beeswax Tallow made for skin shaped by weather, washing, exposure, and the ordinary contact of daily life.

Each material cares for the skin, keeps the composition light and coherent, and shapes how it spreads and settles through repeated daily use.

For the Skin

Wagyu beef tallow forms the soft, conditioning center of Rising Sun. Its balance of oleic, palmitic, and stearic fatty acids provides lipid-rich care while allowing the balm to settle cleanly with a light, comfortable finish.

Cupuaçu butter adds moisture retention and a flexible cushion. It gives the lighter tallow composition greater generosity while helping dry skin remain soft and comfortable.

The vivid color of Rising Sun comes from sea buckthorn fruit oil. Naturally rich in carotenoids and palmitoleic acid, this concentrated orange-gold oil brings focused botanical care to skin exposed to dryness, weather, and everyday contact with the world.

Within the Composition

Virgin beeswax gives Rising Sun its light protective structure. It holds the softer tallow, cupuaçu, and oils together while leaving a fine veil that helps limit moisture loss and remain comfortable throughout the day.

Used with restraint, beeswax gives the balm enough persistence to stay present while preserving the composition’s lightness and flexibility.

Natural vitamin E tocopherols help preserve the freshness and integrity of the tallow, butter, and botanical oils over time while contributing additional conditioning to the finished balm.

On the Skin

Jojoba oil, composed largely of wax esters, helps Rising Sun move across the skin in a fine, even layer. Castor oil adds a measured cushion and subtle grip, keeping that movement controlled while allowing a small amount of balm to spread easily.

The optional Japanese yuzu essential oil, cold-pressed from the peel, completes the composition with a bright aromatic lift. Its character moves between lemon and mandarin with a soft floral edge - fresh and radiant at first, then settling quietly against the skin.

Together, these materials create a balm that is light in movement, generous in care, golden by nature, and composed to remain soft and comfortable through daily life.
